Cobalt Polymer Accelerators for UPR & Gelcoat Curing
Our cutting-edge ECOS product line provides a sustainable, low-toxic curing technology alternative for unsaturated polyester resin and gelcoat applications, without compromising on quality and stability. Rigorous testing at our customers has demonstrated that ECOS ND15 is a suitable drop-in replacement for traditional UPR cobalt accelerators.
Our cobalt polymer based accelerators enable you to proactively address the potential hazard classification associated with traditional cobalt carboxylates. A careful hazard assessment of ECOS ND15 has been conducted, and based on all scientific tests, our product has been classified as a non-hazardous substance.

Copper Carboxylate and Potassium Octoate Catalysts for UPR & Gelcoats
Our VALIREX metal carboxylates for UPR and gelcoat catalyst applications are based on copper or potassium.
VALIREX Cu serves as a peak exotherm regulator during the UPR curing process, slowing down the curing reaction rate. This minimizes heat generation during the curing process and enhances open time and workability. Consequently, VALIREX Cu averts problems like cracking or degradation of the final product, improving the composite's overall quality.
VALIREX K functions as a co-catalyst, augmenting cobalt performance and diminishing the color of the composite product.
