Stannous Catalyst with 28% Metal Content
VALIKAT Sn 2808 is a stannous-based metal carboxylate with 28% Sn content. The product is mainly used as a catalyst in flexible polyurethane foam production. Typical examples of applications include bedding and furniture. Next to that, VALIKAT Sn 2808 can also be used as a ring-opening catalyst for the polymerization of cyclic esters such as the production of polylactic acid (PLA) from lactic acid.
