VALIKAT Sn 2510 is a 2-ethylhexanoate-free, stannous-based metal carboxylate with 24-25% Sn content. The product is mainly used as a catalyst in flexible polyurethane foam production. Typical examples of applications include bedding and furniture. Next to that, VALIKAT Sn 2808 can also be used as a ring-opening catalyst for the polymerization of cyclic esters such as the production of polylactic acid (PLA) from lactic acid.
