Zirconium Lactate Crosslinking Agent with over 5% Metal Content in Aqueous Solution
Valirex Zr 503 Aqua is an aqueous solution of Zirconium Salt of lactic acid. Stable in water at neutral pH and VOC free, it is commonly used as a metallic crosslinker of aqueous polymers; cellulose, starch, guars, as we as other carbohydrates and funcinalised polymers (e.g. PVA). Delayed gelation and high viscosities at elevated temperatures for periods of time make Zirconium lactate a practical choice in hydraulic frctioning treatment applications. It can also serve water-borne paints (acrylic) and printing inks, as well as paper and synthetic nonwoven applications acting as a surface and rheology modifier, adhesion promoter, compatibility enhacer.
